Kyo rolled his eyes as he watched Manae snatch his liquor from the bar and vacate the area.
"Sheesh...I go unconcious for a few centuries and all the real heroes disappear..." Kyo muttered, clutching his staff tightly as he loosened his stance and prepared to dodge Ambiath'c's incoming attack.
Lurching forward under the spider's body as it's legs came down, Kyo's hand darted into the folds of his cloak, using one swift motion to dash what seemed to be a clear liquid all over the ground beneath Ambiath'c. Continuing to run under the spider, Kyo spun around after he was clear of the monster.
"N'FRAZA!!" Kyo screamed, abruptly jutting his staff into the air with both hands. The water beneath Ambiath'c almost instantly expanded to cover a massive area of the open town square, the ground's surface immediately becoming slick, mirrored ice.
The spell completed, Kyo's eyes darted around the nearby buildings. Finally selecting one, Kyo sprinted inside to find a suitable spot while the spider was distracted and incapacitated. His hands moving with almost inhuman speed, Kyo quickly mixed together several reagents and potions in a nearby bowl. The reddish orange mixture simmered and smoked slightly as Kyo readied a small vial of green potion in one hand, standing at the door of the building, watching the spider struggle against the ice.
"Hey...HEY!!!" Kyo yelled, making sure to get the spider's attention. As several of the strange eyes locked on his location, Kyo did the first thing that came to mind...
and flipped it the bird.

At first, the creature struggled on the ice, slipping on its slick surface.
After a few seconds however, the creature rammed its feet down, crashing the claw through the icy part of the ground to the harder surface below. Spying Kyo, ignorant of the gestures meaning, it began walking towards Kyo, slamming its feet down loudly on the ice to walk firmly. As it neared, it raised its legs and smashed at the roof and upper regions of the house above Kyo, sending it all toppling down.

Kyo grinned slightly as he barely avoided the spider's legs streaking down through the thatched roof of the house.
"Lets see how easily you shrug this off!!"
As the support beams of the house crashed down around him, Kyo took the green vial in his hand and dashed it into the mixture he had sitting on the table. Kyo sprinted into the back of the kitchen, diving out of a small window as the home buckled and crumbled. Yet seconds after Kyo escaped, the house and the incredibly flammable thatch burst into a gigantic blaze.
The flames towered into the sky, and black smoke poured from the fuel, the entire house being engulfed and immolated, along with the hideous creature...

The creature however was unaffected by these flames, and ignored them. Normal flames would unaffect the creature. Its body would seem to be almost "Melting" slightly at first, but then it'd pull together in a constant cycle. As the creature peered around the flames, looking for Kyo. It walked slightly aroudn the building, continuing its search.
Though the night was still fairly young, it was lingering too long. The creature's prime urge may be to eat, but it MUST OBEY ITS MASTER. It had a sense that it shouldn't linger much longer.
Ambiath'c, somewhat content with it's actions, begin walking towards the seaward edge of the, damaging parts of it as it went. As it reached the water, it tested the cold deep carefully, before striding underneath, disspearing beneath the waves and leaving a line of destruction and death behind it cutting through part of the city.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Rawanuk walked through the wastelands faster and faster. The sun would be rising soon in the shadow filled land, not that it mattered to him. The light wouldn't do overly much in this accursed place, barely patching through the dark clouds overhead.
As he walked, he came upon the place rumored as the location the Black Dragon Fiend.
As Rawanuk approached, slowly came into view that dark cavern filled rock that served as the Fiend's home. Before the enterance to the caves, Rawanuk spied fires infront of the cave.
'Priests', Rawanuk thought to himself sarcastically. A minor annoyance.
Rawanuk approached the priests of Zophar, Vile tribesmen. They saw Rawank as he approached, making trouble making out who he was in the dark. As he approached nearer, some quickly pulled their swords out fo their sheathes, while one or two raised staffs from their side. 'Three warriors and two mages, this should be interesting'.
"Halt, Rawanuk!" Called one of the more stronger looking of the sword wielders. "Do not approach any closer! We know of your transgressions against the great God Zophar and his priests and council! We shall spare you for now for your once former faithfulness, but approach anymore and face destruciton!"
Rawanuk grinned beneath his mask, and started laughing, and then stood still. Raising his hands to the sky, he began to chant. As he did, the warriors quickly took action, running towards him, swords drawn, to cut him down. As Rawanuk chanted more and louder, cascading into shouts, the darkness of the half light of the beggining day began to fall again into darkness.
Just as the warriors come into range of Rawanuk and prepare to attack, the accursed Black Flame appeared before their feet, rushing before them. Startled back, they take a few feets backwards, as Zorak begin to laugh, his form partially obscured by the cascading and falling flame.
Zorak begins chanting again, his voice filled of hysterical yet evil menacing laughter. Ammid the shadow of the flame, suddenly, out of nowhere, a large eyes open, its red iris on white staring directly outwards, identical to Ambiath'c's eyes but singular and much larger, into one of the warriors eyes. Zorak's laughter grows more and more, bellowing at the perturbed warriors.
Finally, the one who spoke earlier raised his sword, raising his sword.
"Enough, ignore his wizardry, let us slay him before he can do anything of damage!" Suddenly, the warrior next to him turned, and with a cold expression on his face ran his blade through his companion's chest. The other swordsman suddenly took another few steps away from the vile, his eyes wide in shock. The casters in back stop their magic chants, and too wide eyedidly stare at the man.
"Wwww... why?" the impaled warrior said, suddenly, the crazed warrior raised his head, his eyes the same as whatever it was inside the flame. Rawanuk chuckled, as the enslaved warrior removed the blade, and squickly swang around his feet, decapitating the impaled warrior, and then turning towards the other.
The remaining true warrior, filled with resolve jumped at the enslaved warrior, his blade falling down against the enslaved man's own blade in a loud clang. Both casters, one female and one male clench their teeth at the sound, both thinking that they can't cast without hitting the other priest. The sword fight continues, blade met with blade, neither looking to relent.
Finaly, the male caster, his blood and true heritage kicked in, forgot any earlier qualms. If they both died it was of no matter. He raised his staff, and called out as he cast his magic.
"Zophar, give me your dark strength! Black destruction!"
A large black ball of energy erupted from the staff, flying towards both of the locked in battle swordsmen. However, the enslaved swordsman saw the ball before the free warrior, and jumped out of the way. The vile turned with wide eyes just as the blast hit him, charring him and eating away his skin. His charred corpse fell backwards, wide eyes eaten away with a open jaw remaing as the onyl surviving show of the suprise.
Rawanuk laughed heartely at this. 'Such a wonton sense of comradery', hehe.
The man caster grimaced as the blast hit. The female was filled with surpise, she turned her head slightly at the male caster, a look of disgust at his lack fo skill and at risking of the warrior that only ended with their remaining comrade here dead.
The enslaved warrior raised his blade again, covered with the blood of his former allies.
The warrior rushed again. This time the female raised her own staff, a mixture of reluctance and determination on her face.
"Take this!" she shouted.
A large flaming fireball, colored of normal flame and much larger than her compatriot's attack flied towards the warrior. He continued rushing at the mages, dodging too slowly from the flame however. Just before it hit he threw his blade at the mages, as his body was partially engulfed in flames. The explosion sent him flying to the side, his blade arm falling to the ground in flames. The blade pierced the man mage's chest, and with blood spraying he fell backwards dead.
The explosion didn't unaffect the female mage, it's shockwave at this range sent her backwards onto her back, knocking her head on a rock, sending her into unconciousness.
The look on the enslaved man's face left, the pain of the lack of the man's arm managing to override Rawanuk's half hearted control. His left arm clenched his stub of a right, blood trickling out even with the grasping.
He, somewhat ignorant of what happened, looked around in pain. Seeing his comrades all seemingly dead to him, and he sees himself covered with others blood, and his own blade sitting in the mage's chest. He falls back on his back, crying in pain, dispair, and confusion.
Rawanuk dispersed the black flame, walking past his former puppet, continuing past the unconcious female caster, turning his head to the unconcious form, either forgetting her, ignoring her, or perhaps sparing her.
In any case, he entered the cave of the Black Dragon Fiend, to confront whatever was ahead.

As Rawanuk entered the cave, he heard the Black Dragon Fiend's raspy voice speak.
"Rawanuk, you filth. How dare you desecrate my chamber with your presence? Come no further if you value your pathetic life."

Rawanuk chuckled.
"Now now fiend, lets not be so testy. You most likely have a vague guess of what I'm here for of course, but I won't let that stop me." Rawanuk says with a smile beneath his mask. " I wouldn't hope that your god would keep you in the dark about such things. But then again, perhaps he would."
Zorak shrugged, then laughed again.
"Shall we get to it, then?" Rawanuk raised his hands from his side, beginning the now familiar chant. Before his feet the Black Flame arose, spiraling into the air. Immedietely, Rawanuk moves into a second spell as soon as the flame reaches height.
Immediately from the depths of the shadow cralls two large snakes, 18ft feet long each, black in color, they lack any eyes at all.

Kyo canted his head to the side as he watched the spider retreat, unharmed by the flames.
"My...quite a powerful beast...and quite evil."
Indeed it had been. Kyo's thoughts drifted back to his brief empathic mental link with Ambiath'c. A single eye, flaming and lidless...it held a resemblance to the creature...moreover, the creature held a resembalance to it. Was it behind the destruction...?
"It matters little..."
Kyo shrugged, dusting off his robes slightly and walking down the long road to the next town. The fight had only proven that his powers and alchemy needed practice. Still...Kyo couldn't help but ponder if the creature was merely a minion or an actual extension.
Putting it out of his mind, Kyo turned his thoughts to his alchemy and spellcasting, making his way down the path with the city left a smoldering scar on the land.

'Damned dark night,' Manae thought to himself as he walked along. He'd been on the roads for over an hour, and the camps were finally close.
Five minutes later, he was standing a few yards away from the limits of the firelight. The alcohol was wearing off, and his mind wasn't much at east.
Um... Hello?

With an ear-piercing screech, the Black Dragon Fiend plummeted from the top of his lair. He opened his mouth, and let loose a massive blast of electricy at Rawanuk.
"Go to Hell!!"

Rawanuk quickly around the edge of the cave, the lightning falling behind him. He quickly discards his large cloak and hat as he runs, leaving him wearing his mask, gloves, a tight wrap and boots. His long black hair falls behind him as he runs. His summoned snakes are sense with their ethereal senses the dragon, and launch themselves at it, attempting to strike with their teeth, but they are quickly ignited and destroyed the dragon’s power, ripped to pieces and turned to black ash.
They however had served Rawanuk enough to his needs. He, now away and out of the Dragon’s grasp, raised his hands forward in front of him, the gloves and hands glowing a strange ‘white black’ as he channeled the energy of the spell known as ‘Lit’. He, after a few seconds of charging and the magic growing, then screamed at the Dragon “Your god has no control over me, my fate has been separated from his’ control, nor is it of the equally accursed Althena. My fate has fallen into a new pool, and I won’t let you let my fate dry up in your power.” Rawanuk released the dark magic of ‘Lit’ at the Dragon. He quickly begins running again, knowing that his attack wouldn’t stop the dragon or even damage it overly much.

The Dragon quickly opened it's mouth wide, and swallowed the magic attack. It closed it mouth, and with an earth shattering roar, let loose a massive bolt of lightnign at Rawanuk.

Rawanuk kept running, the lightning landing behind his feet, and the branches that got near Rawanuk dispersed by beginning to charge his bolt attack. Rawanuk slowed, Now at the opposite cave wall from where he had started running.
Rawanuk raised his hands, which began to dance with electricity.
"So you are as strong as I thought. Interesting."
Rawanuk raised his hands, which begin swirling with dark electrical energy, rivaling that of the Dragon's own attack.
Rather than firing it at the Fiend, Rawanuk suspecting it wouldn't do much due to the Fiend's own electric based attack, Rawanuk blasted the roof of the cave, sending large rocks and pieces toppling down onto the Fiend, While it wouldn't defeat the Fiend, Rawanuk knew it would manage to hurt it slightly and more than likely disorientate and mess with the Fiend's cool.

The Fiend hissed, and shot a large burst of lightning upward, meeting with the rocks, making them explode into much smaller pebbles. The rocks fall hard and fast, like steel.

As the beast is distracted with attacking the rock showers, Rawanuk continues his bolt attack and hits the fiend in the head to stray its fire enough for Rawanuk to get closer. Rawanuk raised his hands and, his hands turning black framed in white, fires a large 'Lit' attack at the dragon, charged powerfully to bash the dragon backwards and maybe out of the air, with enough force to possibly even send it out the cave.

The Fiend sees the blast coming at him, and turns 180 degrees, facing the wall. He plows through it, out of sight of Rawanuk, and hovers. As the energy blast comes at him, he swallows it once more, and with a grimace, unleashes an even more powerful beam through the hole he made, which would fill the chamber with lightning.
