Seris managed to keep from laughing too loudly, but still moved to help Kal back to his feet, "You should watch yourself there. People tend to be kinda jumpy when you sneak up on them in the dark."

The "fireball" hits Ambiath'cs body, dispersing merely against it quickly.
However, the elven mage's attack didn't do such. The material erupted over part of the creature's back, bubbling the black flesh, melting it slightly as it did.
However, the damage was only temporary. Clenching its' fangs together, the creature rushed at the Kyo, sending two feet slamming straight down at the elf. Meanwhile, another foot did a long sweeping swipe at Manae.

Rawanuk continued his long walk through the wastleand. It had been days without any sight of well, anything, but it did not bother the man who cared not for really any person or thing at all.
It would be a day or so before he finally reached his destination, and he was fine with that, with thoughts of what his creature mightbe doing at the same time.

Manae hopped over the attack, landing in a roll under the beast again, leaving another leg upon the stones. He began in a sprint towards the inn.
'I'm going to need a little more stuff...' he thought.

((Has Ashra just given up on going after Mablung, Zorak?))
Reana awoke early in the morning and strolled through the mountain mist up to the top of the hill. Mablung walked up behind her tapping her shoulder.
"Good morning."
She spun around with her one handed broad sword thinking it a vile. He caught the blade with his staff on its broadside parrying it to the side.
"Look first strike second. Had I been someone less skilled you would have innocent blood on your hands."
"I am sorry lord, I'm just used to being on guard."
"Understandable due to your history, but it is something you must learn to avoid."
"What is on today first."
"First you must master the bow. I have prepared several targets at the base of the hill. After you fashion your bow today you will practice hitting those. Remember you must be able to hit with both arms."

Kyo thrust up his staff overhead, barely catching the spider's legs and struggling under the immense weight that pushed down on him. Lurching backwards with only inches to spare, Kyo diverted the spider's attack.
"Hmpf! Perhaps I'll actually have to use magic!"
Holding an open hand straight towards the insect, Kyo reached back as he muttered, delving deeply through amost a centuries worth of memories and subconcious, he brought to the forefront. Moments of utter calm and peace - then forcing them into the Spider's mind with one massive surge of psychic power.
Kyo himself staggered slightly from contact with Ambiathc's twisted soul, finally breaking off mental contact. He yelled to Manae...
"That should deter him for a moment!! Destroy him now!!"

OOC: Until I get a better feel of the overall geography, consider the startoff point to be just about anywhere at the moment.
IC: In a quiet beach away from the usual bustle of life, shining, shimmering, crystal clear, a lone man stood at the edge of some rocks, staring into the beautiful blue waters, seemingly in search of something. Compared to the rest of the scenary, with nature at its finest, this man seems a little too out of place, though it didn't stop him from visiting this little part of the world.
Tall, lissome, slim, yet well toned, the pale young man stared patiently at the waves crashing against the rocks with an almost childish anticipation in his expression, the pointed, elf-like ears perking to every little sound. Dressed in normal civilian attire, albeit a little much for the warm weather the beach is receiving, it was the eccentricity of his movements that made him a stranger amongst the beach above all else.
Harmless, but strange.
Some nearby onlookers walked by, curious at the pale 'elf's' fascination with the water, and, in spite of the strangeness of it all, couldn't help but walk up to the strange man.
"Did you lose something, lad?"
"Shhhhhhh..." the pale man hushed, his eyes still darting over the waters, searching for... whatever he is searching for. The onlookers looked over the water, curiosity getting the best of them.
"Are you sure you don't need any help?"
"Shhhhhhh... you're disturbing mommy..." the man hushed again, and let out a childish laugh as he continued staring into the waves and the rocks.
"Mommy?" one of the onlookers thought with confusion.
"Shhhhhhh..."
The onlooker raised an eyebrow, shrugged, and decided to walk away.
"Strange fella, I tell ya."
"Yeah..."
Suddenly, the man's expression changed from childish, to a darkened, grim expression. An almost evil glint shone into his dark eyes, though he still stared into the waves below.
"UGH!" one of the onlookers gurgled, as he felt a sharp pain from his back through to his gut. Slowly, the man looked down at his tomach, and to his shock, a sharp, pointed, jagged blade pierced through his stomach, blood spurting from the wound. The second onlooker spun his head around, and looked with an equally wide-eyed shock. Still facing the water, the pale man still remained unchanged from his position, except for one important difference: his right hand now held a giant, grotesque, double edged scythe, the main blade as curved as the cresent of the moon, the other blade a more straightforward, spear-like blade, with said end jabbed straight into his companion.
"Oh... my..."
"Mommy says you'll make a fine catch... along with the giant turtle swimming with the fishies," the pale man replied with a big grin, as he literally held up a giant sea turtle with his left arm... well... what used to be a left arm, now a singular grotesque claw decorated with skulls on the forearm, the 'blade' itself made up of a singular giant skull with jaw elongated into the mandible claw itself.
Gasping with fright, the other man scrambled on his feet, and clumsily ran away screaming for his life, leaving the pale man by himself with a downcast expression.
"Uh... won't you stay for a bite?" the pale man said solemnly, as his victim felt his life slip away in a slow, agonising death. "Ah, well... more for me, isn't that right, kind sir?"

"Damn it! Come back here with that map you little brat!"
Crix ran down the street after the small boy,the same one from the tavern. The boy darted between the crowd, trying to lose Crix.
"MY MAP!!!" "Fine, wanna play like that"
Crix took the Fox Mask off his belt and put it on. Once again,he felt his cool wind like energy surge through him. Crix jumped up above the crowd, starteling the towns folk. Crix landed in front of the boy
"Map,now"
The boy darted down the alley. Crix sighed and stepped down the alley. The shadows began to move around Crix, soon all around him was just darkness
"What the?"
Crix drew both his rapiers. The darkness lashed out at him. Crix just simply put his rapiers in a X,blocking the whip, then he charged into the darkness. He stabbed both blades into the small boy
"How.....did you.....know" "I could sense your power. Your entire body was cloaked in a dark aura after I put on the mask. Your shadows went enough to douse it though" " But you won't get your map......"
The boy's body changed into a dark ooze, sliding off the blades. The darkness behind Crix disappered.
"Well now that thats over I think its time to leave"
Crix sheathed botu of his rapiers, walked out of the alley and countinued out of town.

Reana twirled her staff around then brought it to the groundly following a staff combination form. She then bowed. Mablung nodded approvingly.
"Good job, we are going to train under the stars again tonight."
She nodded as sweat dropped down her face, she looked at him for a second as he turned around looking up at the setting sun. He turned around.
"Yes? "
"Its nothing, I was just wondering what it must be like having only a life mastering martial disciplines. Have you never loved, never settled down, never lived in peace. You don't seem to have that experiance in you."
"Indeed I have done few of those things, but I am not without, I have loved my family and my goddess. I have experianced peace, for a substantial part of a human life, but the fact is, the natural state of this world is not eden, but rather a struggle to gain it. As long as there is a desire to dominate all life on this land a paladin cannot be at peace."
"So a lone warrior in interminable war, are you saying that is the way of the Paladin, to see things only as part of a constant war map. Isn't it lonely? "
"Not as much as it would seem, we have our fraternity and devotion of our goddess, companionship of our steeds. "
"Thats not what I meant, a lack of family."
"That, yes for the first few centuries I spent after my family was slaughtered by the vile scum. It was very lonely."
His voice raised slightly with some anger.
"We should get back to your training. Sprint around the villages outer palistades one score before the moon rises. "
"I did not to upset you."
"Hardly, a legitimate question, in seeking the skills of a paladin you are obligated to learn of what nature the arts of paladinhoods keepers exist."
She ran off. Silver Fang approached Mablung from behind.
"Your strange fellow my friend. Not good at reaching out to people."
"No its not that, I usually do not have much trouble talking about my life, with her its different."
"Don't tell me you've developed a crush."
"No that would be most improper between master and student, she was a vampire, I know it wasn't her fault, but I can still sense remnants of the vampire within her, she hasn't conquered it. Part of her hates the helplessness of her current state."
"Hence your inhuman training."
"Hence."
The elf and his beast man companion watched as the woman ran off in the distance.
"I can't help but admire her high levels of potential, she has the ability to become a great warrior of the light and leader of her people." Silver Fang spoke.
"Indeed..."

Later in the evening, the pale man rested comfortably against a tree, sitting with his arms behind his back, humming to himself as the campfire flickered and crackled in the night. The man was seemingly at peace... if you can call having a pile of human bones and sea turtle strewn about the site 'peaceful'. Then again, it was, afterall, dinnertime, and every little bit of flesh that can keep his stomach full is a good meal indeed.
Now, all he needs to make this night perfect is one more little thing...
"T-there he is!" a voice cried out. The pale man opened his eyes a slight crack, and turned to the direction of the voice. Standing with both torches and weapons on hand, stood a group of villagers out for blood. One of the men was in fact the onlooker who he met at the beach, the same man who... decided not to stay for dinner.
"I see you brought me dessert," the pale man moaned, as he licked his lips deliciously, sending chills down the spines of every man around.
"By the goddess... he... he ate him..."
"He's a monster..."
Hearing the word 'monster' prompted the pale man topick up his scythe, and slowly stand on his feet. No longer in civilian clothes, the pale man is now dressed in black leather, with chains and straps strewn about his outfit. Most noteable of all is the sleeveless leather cloak/long coat, to match the insanity within.
"Lookie here... more food for the soul..." he snickered, then held the giant scythe over his shoulders. "Mommy is still hungry. Mommy wants more meat."
The blades on the scythe begin to glow and ignite as purple flames envelope the blades with chaotic energy.
"Mommy wants her dessert now... Dearest Zohpar, Thank you for your most precious meal."

Lok advanced to the great Blue Dragon Fiend, bowing in his presence. None of the beasts had bothered him, they could sense his power. As Lok took a stand, the Fiend let out a chuckle.
"It is good to have you back, Lok."
"It's an honor."
"As you know, we have been conferring about the new Fiend Master. Lok, we have decided that you are truly filled with hatred for the Goddess. As you have already passed my trial, I bestow upon you the Blue Fiend Helm..."
Lok's eyes closed as a black energy came forth from the cracks of the lair, engulfing him fully. The energy formed into a sphere, and shrank around his head. As it dispersed, he now wore the Blue Fiend Helmet, a deep blue helmet much in the fashion of a Roman Centurion's, with a pair of curling horns on it. Lok's eyes opened, and smiled at the Blue Fiend. The Fiend closed it's eyes, and with an earth shaking roar, his body turned into an arrow out of pure energy, and struck through Lok's chest. Lok fell to his knees with a scream, as it dispersed throughout him.
Lok stood after a period of intense pain, and made his way out of the lair, a large grin on his face. Passing Reqiuem, he stopped, and looked at his elvish companion. He laughed, and kept going.
"Now I need to visit the other 3 dragons..."

Mablung looked over the top of the Palistades, he saw 6 riders approaching the gate bearing banners of the temple guard.
"Open the gates!"
The wooden gates are openned and the riders come in.
"Hir-Mablung, I am instructed to tell you to ride with me to the city. Bring your sword, we ride to war!"
"War against whom? "
"We are gathering our host to invade the lands of the Vile Tribes. All the might of this continent has been united. Our numbers are great, and we call upon your service."
"Then I will go."
Reana walked behind him.
"Your not going anywhere without me."
"Your not ready."
"Neither are you with your oath never to slay with El-Anchagel till you've met the dragons requirements."
"Then I won't, I will refrain from slaying if at all possible, but I will protect."
"Then I will also."
A snort was heard, Silver Fang looked on annoyed.
"My friend, I may serve the ancestors not the goddess, but as long as you choose to fight this way, I will stand by your side. You have my axe."
The soldier looked at him.
"They aren't warriors, and neither are you at this point."
"Boy I have foughten battles with my hands alone, I will go and I will serve. Silver Fang is a strong one as well, Reana you aren't ready."
"Fine."
Mablung ran into his tent getting his sword, if Althena needed him to break the seal he was ready. He packed his bags quickly and mounted Moonstrider. Silver Fang got on all fours ready to run with the horses.
"Let us go!"
They set off across the plain. As soon as Reana saw they were off she ran to her hut and began to pack, the hell she wasn't going.

The creature is frozen slightly by Kyo's attack, sending the creature stuttering and making it slow to react.
Manae's attack caught it totally off guard, the blade drove deep into the creature's flesh. The flesh bubbled around the blade. However, the flesh seemed to then try to pull at the blade, it's urge to consume so great that its half-flesh was trying to eat that blade that pierced it so.
The creature's eyes roved around its head, suprised by the attack. Suddenly one of the eyes moved to the top, and, sat there, staring at Manae's eyes motionlessly.
The eye just stared and stared emptily into Manae's eyes.
Eat.... Feast.... Consume... Eat... Feast... Consume... Blood... Flesh... Meat... Food....
The words seemed to just pour into Manae's mind, as his own eyes looked and seemed to just fall into the creature's own.

The chant flooded into his mind, overwhelming him. His senses numbed, and vision began to fade to black. Clutching at his face, he yelled as loud as he could.
With a sudden ferocity, he grabbed the blade with both hands, a look of insanity on his face. In an arcing sweep, he ripped it out of the head, straight through the eye that was tormenting him. It was seldom he could act physically on his demons... With another sweep, he removed all the legs on the left side before jumping off towards the front. After regaining his composure for a moment, he rushed in again, but only met with an open maw...
By the time it had finished eating the hapless villager, whom was easier to trick into running towards the beast than he'd thought it would be, Manae had stumbled back inside the inn. He thought to himself that even if the monster hadn't fallen for his little illusion of jumping front, it would still likely take the time to eat an easy meal before pursueing. Getting his traveling sack, runesword, and a large gourd of alcohol, he headed out the back, then set off for the fires he'd seen on the mountain earlier.
'Someone has camps up there,' he thought, 'and I hope they won't be afraid of a haggered old man joining them for a while...'

Ambiath'cs eye moved out of the way of the blade, roling back along the head away from the slice. The second the sword cut the legs they immediately rejoined together, a more speedily recovery than them falling down and pulling in. The creature ate the villager than ran towards it, crunching down on the bones noisly, while turning towards Kyo, forgetting all about Manae.
The creature screeched at Kyo, and began slamming its legs down at him.
