Be it the first, be it Testament, or Anubis, I just LOVE that series, phallic sized crotchpits and all. ^^ In my case, greatest exposure to the series is in Anubis (or Second Runner, if you prefer). Playing as Naked Jehuty is like a guiltless cheat code. You just can't lose. I can't get enough of the game, the orbital frames, or its music. If only the voice acting on the dubs were better (or at least they thought of including the Japanese voices to go with the English... but I digress). What y'all think of this somewhat underappreciated series?

ZOE, quite frankly, is a God among mech games. I'm sure that a lot of people don't agree, but it truly is such a great series. I mean, not only is the story quite good, but the graphics and soundtrack kick ass as well. In fact, the only thing I could find wrong with the original ZOE was it brevity, and that was corrected by the second one, anyway.
(And yes, Anubis is one of the most kick-ass mechs in any game.)

Auuman Anubis is even freakier. @_@ Frig, where do they come up with these things? @_@ Personal favourite thus far, though, is Nephtis. Frig, she is a freak when it comes to dishing out damage. Then we have the Vic Viper, which, as one put it, is ZOE2's proverbial kick to the nuts.

Jehuty the bird. ^^ And, yes, I just love those fodder LEVs, the Phantomas. I have even more fun using Taper as a weapon. ^^

Hehe, and yes, before the game was even out I was listening to the theme song.. It's so pretty. Along with Kiss Me Sunlights from the first soundtrack. But I love the string work in the other song.. Er, forgot the name.

Beyond the Bounds... cool song. Along with all the other odd bgm variations, and Sana's Mitsuto Suzuki 020203 remix. If it must be Jehuty, then it's Naked Jehuty all the way. ^^

You guys just HAVE to watch the anime series Dolores and IDOLO. Dolores and her sister frame, Hator, kick MAJOR ass! Plus there's a special frame+pilot appearance in Dolores that all of us would recognize...

I saw Idolo. Yeah, great. Had er.. uhh.. *strains* Nephtis' pilot.. Can't remember her name.. Oh! Viola! That was it. And I have the first of the Dolores dvds. Wind gave it to me for my birthday a year back actually. Dolores is so cute. Pink orbital frame of doom. *loves pink*

I thought Idolo was great. It's kind of sad, though, that Viola went insane over Radium... even when he didn't love her like she did him. Besides that, it did give us a good prelude to Nohman's own madness, by telling us how and why it was caused, through the mental degeneration of Radium.
Dolores, on the other hand, I can't stand. That whole series was total crap. The only person I know who saw it the whole way through (besides you guys) is my brother, and that was in the vain hope that it might get better towards the end. It's the whole concept of it being childish one moment, and dark the next. It just doesn't fit the relatively omni-dark world of ZOE...

I only saw the first dvd and was hoping it was only happy because it was the start of the series.. ZOE to me has to be dark, cryptic, and moody. Just look at the games. So much neutral coloring. The Dolores series seemed to go against that in look and feel. Oh well. At least there's still the games.

IMO, the games are the only real part of ZOE.
