I said "You're about as scary as the Gouf is practical." And the Gouf, as we all know, was probobly the most impractical machine to have more than one unit see combat in the One Year War. Seriously, who in their right mind would build a Mobile Suit with a whip, an oversized sword, and a group of low-caliber Machineguns in the fingers to fight tanks and fighter planes! And not only does it have a horrid selection of weapons, it's ground-use only and painted blue as its standard colors! It practically begs to be shot up by Type 66s and Fly Mantas! And in order to use a weapon that would be useful and reloadable, it would have to lose its ability to use its unnecessarily large sword and over-glorified electric bonadage toy! If that isn't impractical, then nothing is! It was only a sick stroke of luck that gave the Gouf an opponent that it would be halfway-suited to fighting. you have to amite the Goff Custom was cool

I personally think both kicked ass, as long as they were in a proper battlefield, say urban environment. I mean, solo, they'd probably get their asses kicked, but with support, if they can get close, will fuck up just about anything in their time era.

Gouf Custom was not just cool, but they fixed some of the Gouf's biggest flaws by replacing the Machinegun hand with a normal hand and the arm-mounted Gatling Gun, giving it that bad-ass Gatling Gun Shield, and by replacing the whip with a rope-thingy with a magnetic rope that could hit planes.

*respawns back in Monev's body*
MH runs up to Libra and grabs him with a mighty hand. He lifts Libra up torwards the ceiling and lets loose his arm mounted gatling on Libra's head. His body is then thrown into the floor of the bar with sufficient enough force to break the floor and shear off a limb. As if to add insult to injury, MH let's loose with both gatlings into the hole.
"Enough of this silly retaliation crap. No more headcrabs down pants! Oh and before I forget..."
A grenade is tossed into the hole. A moment later, a column of flame bursts upwards from the now larger hole.

The Gouf custom was indeed cool. It was just too late in the game though...As for the usefulness of the origional Gouf, I think Ranba Ral's performance with it was pretty good. In the right hands (such as more experienced pilots and officers) it ruled. Why they chose it as a MP suit instead of a limited release officer suit is beyond me.

The rope was good. Can't deny that.
EDIT: Gouf didn't get a huge production. 24 units at best if I've heard correctly.

His body is then thrown into the floor of the bar with sufficient enough force to break the floor and shear off a limb. As if to add insult to injury, MH let's loose with both gatlings into the hole. "Enough of this silly retaliation crap. No more headcrabs down pants! Oh and before I forget..." A grenade is tossed into the hole. A moment later, a column of flame bursts upwards from the now larger hole. I see Headcrab respawning himself in Monev's body. He charges at me, seeing himself with a slight size and weapon advantage. The one thing he didn't know was his disadvantage, though, was my speed. He attempts to grab me by the throat, in which I draw a mid-size dagger and duck his hand. I send my right hand into his chest, including the dagger, and as I finish passing under his arm, I bring myself around to the back of him. In turn from doing this, I did not let go of the dagger, and the muscle mass in his new body was enough to break the blade and leave it deep enough in his body. I spin the broken dagger in my right hand and I stab it into the back side of his right shoulder, leaving the handle in place. By now, I had drawn my machete in my left hand and I swung it hard, tearing through a great deal of muscle in the back of his thigh. As I continue my attack, I draw my LCC4, my newest LCC model. I hold a drum of .50 caliber ammunition good for about 70 rounds, which is belt fed into my pistol, making it a light but effective machinegun. As I come around his left side, the LCC4 is drawn in my right hand, and angled towards his body. I pull on the trigger as .50 caliber bullets tear into his left leg, up the groin, into his chest, and through his glass helmet and into his head. His body falls back and to the left, being that his left leg muscle gave out and helped alter his fall, and his weight crashed through one of the abandoned wooden tables."I pity you. I pity you for thinking that your power and weapons could take down me. Did you think that you seriously could kill me? Choose your battles wisely. That's the only way you can earn respect." I look a little closer at his fallen body, and I notice that my cigarettes had fallen out from all of that. I was just a little thankful that he didn't crush them when he fell. I picked up my cigarettes, and I lit two. I stuck one between his lips, since I managed not to hit his jaw. I inhaled deeply as I took my seat, and I ordered up two shots of Jack Daniels. Taking one of the shot glasses, I laid it next to his fallen body. I took my glass and put it up to my lips, tilted it back, and swallowed the liquor hard. I took my seat as I poured myself another shot, and then I just sat there, thinking to myself"You didn't have to try to take me down... You could have left it as it was, but you didn't..."

*walks in, just as himself but in a western-ish outfit, complete with a black hat, that still looks good with his cloak thrown over his shoulder. The 'PRD' pistol set into a hip holster on his right side* *shrug* Don't feel like claiming a character to be, but I can still go along with the theme in my own way. *pounces* Well, I reckon you're looking mighty handsome.

The MS-07B3 got an almost non-existent run, yeah, if that's what you're talking about, but the MS-07B line was deployed all across the globe. *NM turns to Ai.* Hey, buddy. How've you been?
