*Aries grins, then sideslips right easily, the beam rifle coring two holes in the wrecked Zanzibar's hull next to the Hyper Serpent's head.*
Combat is not all flashy guns, big 'splosions, and high octane throttle usage.
*His missile pods still open and his double gatlings levelled at the Sovereign, the Hyper Serpent plants its feet on the Zanzibar's hull and deliberately begins to walk backwards along its circumference, until it's completely behind it to the Sovereign's position.*
It's also about knowing how to wait, and play for a longer game.

Steel boosts off to find cover behind a wrecked Salamis class cruisers, which is fairly close to where Aries is hiding."Waiting is boring, especially when I know you can be fun." He began charging up all his weapons while hiding, and kept his boosters just a little notch from being switched off, so they are just faintly flickering.

*After walking back along the circumference of the Zanzibar's hull, the Hyper Serpent executes a perfect about-face spin on its heel, so it's still moving in the same direction, but walking forwards now.*
*Aries gives his tri-dee map another look and smiles. Because the Zanzibar is slightly lower than the Salamis behind which the Sovereign in hiding, Aries has a slight window to launch an attack UNDER Vannie-boy.*
'Fun'? You call getting blowed up 'fun'?
*He grins.*
Aries has nooooo choice but to oblige you, then.
*His missile pods still open, Aries uses data from his tri-dee map and sensors to lock onto the Sovereign despite the fact that he can't quite see it.*
*Then he looses six missiles, three from each pod, which spread out like petals from a flower, arc around the Salamis's bulk, acquire the Sovereign on homing, and burn in at it.*
*Meanwhile, Aries closes his pods, pushes off of the Zanzibar and jets upwards towards the Salamis's conning tower, obscuring his view of the Sovereign for the moment, but knowing that it'll likely come out from behind the cruiser damaged.*
*The missiles make the sharpest turns possible once around the cruiser's bulk, and close in about the Sovereign like fingers on a tightening hand, too many for him to pick apart, too fast for him to avoid, since he's got his back against a wall with no place to run to...*

He releases his shield infront of where the missles are coming in front of him, letting the missle plough into the Shield, destroying it in a matter of seconds, but nuterilising all the incoming missles.
However, the explosion caused some shrapnel to head his way, but the Gundam's armour shrugged it off no problem."You've gotta do better than that." Steel then deployed his all remaining funnels, sending them round the Cruiser, out of Aries' vision, to then come around and start homing in behind Aries. The funnels attack aries with repeated fire, but their formation is spread wide and makes them hard to hit, even for an ace.
Meanwhile, Steel switches his Beam Rifle into his suit's left hand and pulls the Bazooka over his right shoulder, holding it's handle firmly in the Gundam's right hand, waiting for Aries to show up.

*Aries, however, literally boosts straight off the edge of the Salamis, coming in directly on top of Vannie-boy, feet first. The funnels blow by overhead, circling the conning tower for a half-second as Steel tries to figure out what just happened, as Aries descends on him from above with every amoutn of thrust the Hyper Serpent can manage, both his Double Gatlings blazing at the Sovereign's head and shoulders.*

While that was happening, Steel redirected his funnels to keep on track before boosting off into a clear open area.

*Aries sideslips left, following Van, his Double Gatlings reestablishing a lock and screaming with tracking fire.*
*All he can do is concern himself about punching out the source. While his neo-titanium armor could hold out for a while, he doesn't have time to chase down every little bee.*
*The queen is simply a much more inviting target, especially as this one's on the run and about to take its medicine up the tailpipe.*

This lets the led trail behind himself, doing no harm.
Then, Steel spins round facing the Serpent and boosts upwards, firing his chest beam cannons wide, spreading Beams everywhere, all around Aries and at Aries.
However, because Aries did not take counter-measures for the Funnels coming back onto him, they Race in directly behind him and on his flanks, blasting at the rear of the serpent.
A hit is certain, as no measures to avoid them were taken in the first place.

*Aries, however, seemed somewhat prepared for this.*
*The Hyper Serpent doesn't stop its forwards motion, although it does drop its double gatlings. It turns to present a 'bird'-eye-view' silhouette to the Sovereign, and puts its arms over its head. It goes into an eye-hurting series of pitches, rolls, dives and climbs, weaving in and around the beam shots from the Sovereign.*
*While his upper body and arms do take a good deal of damage from the machinecannons, from the funnels' point of view, it would appear as if the Hyper Serpent has vanished into the forest of fire. Ensuring that they can't shoot him down.*
*And when Aries appears right in front of the Sovereign, his Mobile Suit's arms and upper body look like they've gone through a meat grinder. Nearly all the armor on the Serpent's arms and shoulders is completely ablated, leaving skeletal machinery exposed. However, at least his right arm is still functional, has the Hyper Cannon out, ready, and fixed on the Gundam's chest at point-blank range, he doesn't grin, gloat, or give Van time to react before he looses every round he's got left in the thing directly at Van.*

Steel disgarded his Beam Rifle, leaving his left hand free, and as Aries came up close with the Cannon at point blank range, Steel smacked his left hand up into the barrel of the Hyper Cannon, knocking it upwards.
From there, Steel thrusted closer to the Serpent and put his left shoulder under the Hyper Cannon's barrel, letting the shots fire out into space meanwhile, he dropped his Bazooka from the shoulder, sliding it down the right arm and lowering his right arm to a 90 degree angle.
Now that the Bazooka was down pointing into the cockpit of the Serpent, Steel pushed it into the cockpit of the Serpent while firing it at point blank range.

*And the maneuver would have been completely successful save for what the Hyper Serpent had been doing with its left hand.*
*The moment he saw the Sovereign discarding its beam rifle, he knew that the Gundam would be going to close range on him.*
*And the Hyper Serpent, if nothing else, was designed for close range.*
*After crossing its left arm over its hips, the Hyper Serpent managed to pull his last Army Knife from its starboard hip sheath as the Gundam's bazooka came around. It lashed out quickly as the Gundam began to shove it up against the cockpit, slicing neatly through the entire trigger assembly of the bazooka, severing it from the weapon.*
*The Sovereign's finger pumps the trigger ineffectually.*
*Its left arm out, its right hand releases the empty Hyper Cannon, lashes out, and grabs the Gundam's head. Its hold tightens down, metal beginning to squeal as the Serpent applies crushing force to the Sovereign. After, its right leg lashes out, wrapping itself around the Gundam's left in a lock, then the entire MS leans onto the Gundam's left side and arm, trapping the appendage against it.*
*And, at very close range, its sensors blinded, its left side locked up, its right still pumping at the bazooka's severed trigger, nothing can stop the plunge of the Hyper Serpent's last Army Knife, coming up under the Sovereign's right arm, in a short stab directly at the Gundam's cockpit.*

Meanwhile, Steel also discarded the left overs remaining in the hand at the Serpent's left hand/arm, hitting it, knocking it off directoin for a few seconds.
This gave Steel enough time for him to reach out with the right hand and grab the arm at the Elbow, clear from the Army Knife, even if Aries span the Army Knife round.
This in turn, stopped both the arms on the Serpent moving.
It was there that Steel would make his finishing move on Aries.
Making sure to be below the missle pods on the Serpent's shoulders, Steel opened up his Head Vulcans and Chest Beam Cannons on the Serpent's torso, which, already missing it's armour, would not be able to survive this attack.

*Aries grits his teeth, feeling the right side of his MS jar as the Sovereign grabs his right arm...*
*...And a slight bump as it discards only a small handgrip from its right hand against his left, which doesn't mass enough to move his left arm far enough off-course.*
*And he doesn't stop that arm even despite the bump.*
*The remains of the bazooka's handgrip flip up past the monoeye sensor of the Hyper Serpent as the knife continues inwards, obscuring his vision temporarily. However, he doesn't need to see the result of his handiwork.*
*The knife's tip ablates the gundarium armor next to the cockpit hatch, the entire blade sinking into the Gundam, as Aries buries it in it up to the hilt. Then he rakes it directly upwards, shredding everything it comes into contact with, leaving a straight line running from the cockpit to the neck of the Gundam. It frees itself at about collar level, pointing directly upwards, as the entire Gundam, deprived of its command, goes limp, its head cocking at an odd angle, its eyes still active. It doesn't explode, as Aries never ruptured anything extremely vital, like the reactor, but electricity sizzles about the long gash that killed it.*
*At that point, Aries goes slightly nuts.*
*He flips the knife around in his left hand, pointing it back down at the Gundam, then sinks it into the Mobile Suit's upper chest again...and again...and again...and again, until the armor is riddled with holes, hydraulic and cooling fluids spraying out of a few of them, and the Gundam jerks like a rag doll with every stab of the knife.*
*Aries starts screaming at the top of his lungs, continuing to stab the dead Mobile Suit, until he raises the Hyper Serpent's leg and kicks off on the Gundam, throwing it backwards, and spinning the Serpent around.*
*As the smaller MS completes its 180-turn, it throws the Army Knife at the limp Gundam, the blade turning through space, and planting itself directly between the Gundam's eyes, the tip of the blade even appearing out the back of the head.*
*Aries gasps for breath, looking directly at the dead Sovereign, his glasses slipped down far on his nose, sweat rolling off him, holding onto his control sticks with a viselike grip. He remains that way for several minutes, watching the Gundam as it slowly drifts backwards.*
*Then he finally lets go of his sticks and sits back in his command chair, closing his eyes and breathing out a sigh of relief. He lets his muscles untense for a second, before he reaches out and sends out a retrieval signal for his nearby carrier.*
Damn it...
*He sighs, then waits as the carrier comes inbound.*

I grabbed both arms. The result would be both your arms CANNOT move. To me, that looks like God-moding... which you had tried previously in this match, and I managed to get you to correct it. I know definatly when I see someone God-moding. Face it Aries, you lost....

Actually Steel, you never said you grabbed the right arm. Aries was going by the fact that any sort of block you made pushing back his arm would be diminished by the fact that you are so much bigger than him, making it so that he could easily weasel his arm back faster than you could set up a second block. Your a hell of a lot larger than him, which is a disadvantage to you at close range.
