Bet you guys thought I didn't do anything creative but RP, eh? But I do. I write poetry (I hate most of it) and very rarely some non-poetry...an example is my Love Manifesto, which I believe no one here but Wind read...
Anyhow, this will be my thread where I put all my crap. Well, most of my crap. Um...well, for now, just my poetry. All of these are up at my blog, but I don't feel like posting a link to it.
Almost all my poems are about love, or written with one's special someone in mind.
So without further ado, here's my latest poem.
-----------------------------
Untitled
Here scribbled on the last page
Of this anthology of poetry
There's one last poem written here
At the end of this journey
This poem is untitled
Its author, anonymous
Its message is timeless
But still covered in dust
Nobody wants to take it down
From its place upon the shelf
Nobody wants to take the pain
And put it in himself
Nobody wants to read about
The real side of love
Nobody wants to know that it's
Less like a kiss - more like a shove
Nobody wants to know that it
Hurts and is littered with fears
Anonymous understood love well,
The page is soaked with tears
Untitled is the perfect title
Real love has no description
What's supposed to be red is really grey
Something was lost in translation
This poem is untitled,
Its author anonymous
Its message is timeless
The page is covered with dust.
Somewhere a boy loves a girl
But his heart is filled with doubt
Every word drips with hidden meaning
But he wishes he could do without
Somewhere a girl loves a boy
But she doesn't think it right
"I'm sorry, you're a nice guy," she says,
"So sweet, but if you were rich, I might."
Somewhere a boy loves a girl
He thinks about her every day
Small things remind him of his love
And he wishes there was something to say.
Somewhere a girl loves a boy
And she wishes she could tell him so
She put a letter in his locker, but
He's too afraid to let it show
Somewhere a boy loves a girl
He wishes things could be different
He wishes it could go like a fairy tale
But "Happily ever after" isn't what they meant.
Somewhere a girl loves a boy
She hints to him of her emotion
He's empty inside as well, but
He can't see the obvious solution
Somewhere a boy loves a girl
He feels the pain in his heart so deep
His heart lifts when he sees the girl
He wonders how she feels before he sleeps
Somewhere a girl loves a boy
She sees herself in the rain
He looks up at the sky and hopes
She's looking at the same
In Untitled, a boy loves a girl
So anonymous wrote this poem
He sealed it with so many tears
And forgot it was written in this tome.
The poem is untitled, but
I think the title is "For the One"
The writer is anonymous, but
Its author - one who longs for someone
In the dust this poem slumbers
Written in the back of this collection
It wasn't put there by the editors
But it's the most relevant selection.
