Whyw ould they remove the second head if it was alive and like sentient? Why would they remove a second head? ....probably because it's a second head.

Because, if they didn't, as the extra head grows over time, it'll put pressure on the child's brain, eventually leading to brain damage and death. There is no way to sustain the second head without condemning the entire child.

We should have kept the other head on, and sold tickets.

Yeah, Zorak, basically if they kept the second head, both would die, but if they removed the second head, one would have a chance to survive.

Heh. Murder at it's finest. Still doing some killing, and not getting jailed for it.

Heh. Murder at it's finest. Still doing some killing, and not getting jailed for it. It's not murder when you save another's life.

Technically, it still is. Example: You kill another man just before he shoots somebody. You saved the other person's life, but you still murdered the first man. But yeah, from the looks of things it wouldn't have been good to keep that second head alive anyway.

There's a difference between murdering someone and killing someone. Murder is a crime; killing isn't, necessarily. I.e., in the United States law code, non-premeditated, non-criminal killing is called manslaughter.

Murder means you killed with the intention of killing. Manslaughter means you unintentionally killed someone.
If he was going to kill it, then in a way it's murder, but also in a way, not really.

And justified killing I'm not quite sure counts as either murder or manslaughter, IE a Cop being forced to shoot and kill a criminal, or a soldier.

You shouldn't have to go to jail for manslaughter. You didn't mean to do it, the courts determine that, but you still go away for it.
