Bet y'all never thought Aries would put up his own in here.
Aries regrets it, believe Aries.
But, y'see, Aries has kinda lost and kinda won when it comes to the fight against his mother for his house. Granted, the mortgage company is now going to foreclose on Aries's house, but that will prove downright crippling to his mother. Yeah. Grr. That'll teach her.
*rolls his eyes.*
Yes, they're foreclosing. It's no big deal anymore. The place is a wreck and there's just about nothing we can do to help things anymore. Aries now says that it'll be good for him to get out of there and start living in a REAL abode.
Erm...wherever that is.
But, fear not. While they are foreclosing on Aries's house, Aries's finances are still kinda groovy. Aries's Da still gets his disability pay from the government, although after this, well, his credit is pretty much shot. Still, being a veteran is nice sometimes.
So, Aries is going on the road.
We're going to pack up our stuff, rent a storage area, and lock up the valuables. Da's planning on taking Aries and Magna to several spots: Las Vegas, North Carolina (he really wants to do that, to follow up on our family history), lots of other places. But Aries thinks we'll most likely wind up in San Diego and will more than likely spend a good deal of time there. Da has a lot of very good veteran friends of his living there who would give everything and the shirts off their backs for him. The going may be a little rough with gas prices nowadays, but Aries'll be okay.
The problem is, during all this time, Aries probably won't be able to get internet access for the forseeable future. No laptop, nothing to get one with, and, well...Aries ain't Centrino-equipped, y'know? He'll see if he can't find a nice library somewhere, whenever or however he settles down, but come June, Aries is lighting outta here and in all probability, y'won't see him for maybe two months.
They foreclose in June, but we could probably stretch things by a few days. That's the best we can do. After that, well...it's all on the breeze, y'know? We'll manage, largely because, well, what ELSE are we going to do?
Aries imagines that most of these problems we're facing will be sorted out once we hit San Diego. Yeah, Aries'll be homeless for a little while, but he imagines that he'll come back home to Texas, and get an apartment instead. After all, all his stuff would still be here. But, again, anything can go anyway here, and Aries is comfortable with it.
Yeah, it's kinda shameful, but Aries doesn't think this needs to be all hidden hush-hush for any reason. Arieses don't just disappear, so Aries didn't want anyone to worry. Also, this is the reason Aries has worked so quickly on the Bar Photo. He wants to get it done before this happens and Aries doesn't have a forwarding address for all the praise he's gonna get for it.
Most of all, Aries wants to say that he'll be fine. Largely because he doesn't have any alternative. Hey, it's okay! Aries gets to see the country! Places he's never been to, faces he's never seen, restaurants that don't have his wanted poster on the back wall!
Aries doesn't leave until June, now. So love him while y'all's still gots a chance.
