I was asked by the scientologists of this board to speak to you about this kind of lashing out against the popular philosophy and as admin I must ask you to stop.
Ellis. You're becoming a cancer. Are you going to go over my head like you did Li's?

No! Our voices must be heard. Operation Clambake, GO! Scientology Kills! But, honestly, Scientology is a dangerous cult. They're manipulative, scheming, evil bunch out for only money, and they'll brainwash as many people as possible to get it. The leaders were so good at brainwashing that they eventually brainwashed themselves, and now Scientology is a rampaging monster. They've been involved in wiretaps, frauds, and even possible murders. Say one wrong thing about Scientology, and be prepared to talk with their lawyers. If you join this dangerous cult, and later discover the truth and not become brainwash victims, you will be listed as a dangerous presence, and their rules against you are any member of the church can sue you, damage your property, go after you and/or your family. If you are fully indoctrinated and screw up, they will send you to a forced labor camp. Not to say that the rest of the scientologists aren't mindless drones either. The celebrities get perks for being celebrities, but regular people who become Scientologists... It's not good. Hell, Scientology is outright banned in many countries for being a dangerous cult. Don't let this little video fool you. They aren't morons, they're brainwash victims fueling a dangerous machine.

As much as this comes across as a total jab at myself, I feel it must be clarified that the majority of the statements you have made about scientology in your above statement can also be said of most other religons and philosophical beliefs at some point in time.

Yeah, but since it's happening NOW, I think it's slightly more relevant.

Indeed. I just wanted to be fair. I was asked by the scientologists of this board to speak to you about this kind of lashing out against the popular philosophy and as admin I must ask you to stop. I'd rather hear arguments from them in a debate thread, as opposed to hearing that Ellis has been "told on" by those who practice. If they have an opinion, either voice it or shut up and accept that not everyone agrees with you, no matter how right or wrong you may be. Whinning doesn't ultimately solve much, aside from the now-likely possibility that this thread will be locked in a generally unprovoked (aside from the argument that this discussion is meant for the debate forum) act of censorship.

Counterarguments from Scientologists? That's like asking for a counterargument against Evolution from a Creationist. It's all bullshit, and you don't have to hear it from them to understand it's just that.
Besides, I think Cyg was joking since that kind of behavior is typical of Scientologists, and she knew it. I don't think we actually have an Scientologists on this board.

Yes, that was actually a Mav quote from days past at the Old MSPB. But I do appreciate it, X.

Ah, holy shit. Actual quote? Crazy. Because that's what they actually tell people to say or say themselves say.

Excellent...
Although I resent your first reply comment to my last post. But that's an argument for a different thread.
