Well, maybe not LITERALLY, but close enough: www.offroaders.com/album/centralia/centralia.htmThis is just plain bizarre. I've read elsewhere (Wierd NJ, to be exact...don't ask why they're printing stories about Pennsylvania now...) that there's enough fuel underneath Centralia to keep the flames burning for another 1000 years...at least.

Okay, maybe I have a slight 'advantage' living so close, but... You've never heard of Centralia before? Pffff. I've walked around in the sinkholes and trashpits above it. Smells like sulfur something fierce, let me tell you.
