Bullshit semantics argument on the Segregation part. What Ellis and I were talking about was obviously the seperate but obviously far from equal doctrine of the racists of the first half of the twentieth century. Let's leave it at that.
Okay, I'll conceed my argument about this article proving that homosexuality being a born trait. I was trying to say in my last post, though, that homosexuality, if it is a biological trait, is not a choice. I hadn't read the particular article before, but I've read many about how it is a born trait. However, it is probably not a choice if it's a biological trait. We could take your flu analogy. Do most people choose to get the flu? No. Do people tell the flu virus to enter their cells, reprogram them, and destroy their cells when the virus replicates and leaves its host? No. That's just nature taking its course. And that's what's happening here. Something is either there since birth or being triggered later on.
Besides, homosexuality is not a trait that's only found in humans. The gay penguins at several zoos across the world, anyone? All I'm saying is it's probably not a choice. It could be an enviromental trigger or a born trait, but we don't know yet.
