Boston vs. St. Louis. Boston is up two games to none, and it's best of seven. Boston has not won a World Series since 1918, after trading Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees. They beat the Yankees after losing three times in the championship, something no team has EVER done in this history of baseball.
Even Aries has never been this excited about a World Series before in his life. And he's never even SEEN Boston play.
So. Will the Curse of the Bambino be broken this year? Does Boston have a chance? Whose cuisine reigns supreme?!!
In y'all's opinions, anyway.

If there were any justice in the world, Boston would be losing every game to St. Louis with each game being a perfect game for St. Louis.
But since that isn't the case, I'm convinced that God, while all-powerful, is not all-good.

While I may be from a fiercely loyal Yankees family, I don't personally care all too much about baseball as a whole. Looking at this World Series, though, I see two fundamentally opposing forces in conflict:
First, we have the Curse of the Bambino, which states that the Boston Red Sox CANNOT win a World Series.
On the other hand, though, we have the Law of Averages, which states that, after a while, the Red Sox HAVE to win a World Series.
Which will prevail? Well, the Red Sox have already made the first step of breaking the curse by beating the Yankees in the Playoffs. Also, they've already won two games in the series. Is victory assured? Well, not really. Keep in mind, this isn't the first time the Red Sox have gotten close to breaking the curse.

At least Aries has got his fingers crossed, though!
As do a lot of Beaneaters.

The Ol' Bambino is playing a damn mean trick. He's gonna let 'em get up 3-0, and then Boston is going to be unable to hold the next four.

I was going to put its Boston's year, but I instinctively picked my nose, Aries how did you know that would occur?

Honest to God, Aries was just debating with himself why he even put that there in the first place.
Now Aries knows.
See? There is a God, and he's got a warped sense of humor.

WITCH! WITCH! WITCH!
I also do believe we will see a repeat of the Mets / Red Sox series. And it will be glorious, because I hate fucking Boston, probably more than I hate the fucking Yankees.
