Well, I do believe that kids should be strictly carded for video games rated 15+ but the video games themselves should not be taken out of stores or any of the such.
The FCC does as much good as they do bad, you have to remember. I think that swearing and nudity should be allowed on television... but on stations that children don't watch. And there we should leave it to the parents.

I believe the parents should use somehtign I like to call THEIR JUDGEMENT. And if they fuck up with their judgement, then screw them, they can't fucking blame ANYONE else. It's how it should be. Not this bullshit where parents go and buy their kids a CD called 'HO WHORE BITCH', and then act so fucking surprised when there are curse words in it. I mean, seriously. People are fucking stupid nowadays.

Yea, you're right. If parents took a little more time with their kids - even just to see what they were watching on TV or listening to - there would be fewer lawsuits. I mean it's not like there isn't a parental advisory sticker on anything that has the world shit or crap in it.

I agree. The problems in this country are made worse because we are trying to shelter and keep things secret like the 20's, back when sex was a scrutinous act and a girl being pregnant was something not to be announced, even in a monogamous marriage. Maybe if they spent money on building channel blocks on TVs instead of spending it on commercials and lawsuits...

Y'know, this can all be blamed on modern-day Victorian Anglo-Saxon guilt.

Y'know, this can all be blamed on modern-day Victorian Anglo-Saxon guilt. How about blaming it on the parents as we are supposed to?

Or we could do both, saying that the societal guilt-trip has lead the previous generation to feel obligated to keep such things from their children's lives, and don't know enough to expose them to certain things with explanation as to why such an action occured, the consequences of it, etc.
