I'd prefer Hard Gay over oppressive communist regimes...
This is in the same vein as the Ellis vs. Me posts by the way, but I would like to point out that the reason China doesn't have a Hard Gay is probably because it would've been censored so fast your head would spin.

As long as it doesn't have mayonnaise on it, I think I'll be okay.
On another topic altogether, maybe what the MSPB needs to pick up steam is an RPG. Something grand and epic, like a space opera. And not just dicking around for twenty sum pages until it dies, something with structure and theme and motif, wheels within wheels, that sort of thing.

Being in a serious RPG sounds refreshing, having been in one too many high school ones.

Totalitarian, and I'm pretty sure they're getting better. Triyun is specializing in Politics of the region if I recall so it's relevant. Isn't it illegal to have images (drawings or otherwise) of Pandas being killed in China?

I know, I'm waiting for Metal Gear one to start up too, but I wouldn't mind having an RPG here as well. I was thinking of something along the lines of building the RPG as five or so "short stories". That is, each faction is given a particular plot point to reach, and that ends said chapter of overall RPG. That and I think it would be interesting to incorporate some philosophical undertones, ethics, ontology, mythology, whathaveyou. As for setting, what do you people prefer, planetary or galactic? All things considered, I'd love to spend a year in China *sometime* after I come back from Japan. I could see myself studying the politics of the region too, actually.

Mostly because they get more money by letting the multi-billion dollar corporations in.... But that's besides the point. And I'm not sure about the Panda thing, but I do know if you use regular Google and type in Tiannemen Square, you get nothing but Tiannemen Square guy and the tanks, but in Google China you type in the same thing and get happy tourist photos. They even have a cute Police-Man cartoon mascot who promotes Internet Censorship. And on the RPG issue, I'd say planetary. You get too many settings and it just gets weird otherwise...

*goes behind the bar and gets a warm bottle of sake and pours a cup. takes a seat at the bar*
Allmost three years since Ive been back here. Lifes been so busy, I havent had time for this place. And now, 3 years later, Im sittin in The Big Sand Box wishin I had hung around.
Well.
*raises cup to empty bar*
Cheers.
*downs it in one gulp*
And heres to you.
*dumps the sake on the floor and places $5.05 on the bar as I sling my M4, throw on my boonie and grab my Aid Bag*
If theres a new bar somewhere and someone happens by, let me know. My emails travestys_wake@hotmail.com. The RPG master wants to play some more.
*lifts hand to empty bar as I turn to walk out*
