I don't have any links or anything (it came out about five minutes ago), but this is bullshit. A motive but no physical evidence! No murder scene, no cause of death. He may be a sleazy liar, but that doesn't necessarily constitute pre-meditated murder.

Have a nice day.Personally, you know, I think this case was just hyped up because it started after the 9/11 Buzz started dying down, so I reall can't say too much. I just haven't been keeping up with the trial.

Aries thinks he did it, and apparently that jury agrees.
Of course, both sides, prosecution and defense, botched this trial up royally, and it's probably likely that he'll get another one.
But not before he gets life in prison.

He never explained what he was doing with his brother's ID, the goatee he grew suddenly, why his hair had been dyed quickly, the sheer amount of cash he had, why he was running for Mexico, why it took him so long to call the police on Laci's disappearance, why the nursery was converted into a storage area after he realized he couldn't get out, so on and so forth.
If y'run, y've generally got a reason. If someon looks like they don't belong there, they don't. If they look suspicious, chances are they generally are.

The human psyche is limitless. You have to consider the fact that he thought the police might blame him for her disappearance, which is exactly what they did.
Regardless, The jury's task is to determine the defendant is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. There is a LOT of doubt. Read: No evidence.

Good call. It looks bad for him, but I've yet to see any hard evidence. TONS of circumstancial evidence, to be sure. But no hard stuff that I know of.

Does it matter if he did it or not? innocent people die/punished EVERYDAY so why not him if he really is innocent?...guilty people get away with murder countless times to...no pun intended...but whose gonna stop it? sure its not "right" but heres a question for you...Right and Wrong are ideas created by man, who in a nutshell are imperfect...*trying so hard not to get religion tied into this when it so easily can*...so why should we judge something based on an idea created by somthing flawed fundementally?

ah but it makes perfect sense if you'd open your head to other possibilties...that and read it completly...
Say for the sake of argument he was innocent and still is proven guilty...such could be the case right now even...and with the lack of evidence you say that he should be innocent...but why? because this countries law says so? if you haven't noticed dear this country is anything but devine, and countless times it has failed misserably...so purhaps this is just another example...
Say he really is guilty however...well aint that a bitch hmm? he had enough shit to prove him innocent but is guitly anyway...oh well Karma sucks eh?...
My point being is that it matters not that he is innocent because countless innocents are punished daily...not because guitly people get away...that only helps prove the thesis that Humanity is completly and utterly hypocritical, ignorent and foolish...including you and myself...
"Well its still not right for an innocent person to go to jail/get killed/etc.." well i agree of course, i'm not uncaring, but i am willing to play devil's advocate and argue against it...as i've already said about the ideas right and wrong...
Lastly dear, why exactly are you interested in his well being? its not like you know the man anyway...
