On my trip, I discovered the disturbing aftermath of this: We had much a discussion on what became of this bird, whether it was self-combustion, prey of animal, or communism that brought it to its end. What do you all think happened to it? Also, we found it on the way to breakfast, in the dawn of a Sunday. It took us by surprise so we filmed it and took pictures. Some blood spots were found a few yards away from that site.

What kind of a crime scene is that? You forgot the chalk outline! Anyways, it was in now way blown up. If it was, you'd see at least a few boens. Looks like a fairly large predator, since so much of the bird was consumed in what looks like a small struggle. Most of the feathers were probably knocked off while it was being chewed. All in all, a nice pic.

No that doesn't cause them to look like that, but it is funny to watch them fall out of the sky. I say alkaseltzer or monkey.

Robin, distinct by the orange and grey feather groupings that you find. And I'd guess it was probably alka-seltzer.
