Wag is just mad because he is a lapdog for the Pope and thus can't accept new ideas.

Wag is just mad because he is a lapdog for the Pope and thus can't accept new ideas. Draco is just mad because he knows he'll spend the rest of his life wandering from ideal to ideal, never knowing the truth or beliving in true morality until he dies and realizes that he's in hell.

Better to be without morals than with the morals of the Catholic Church.

Better to be without morals than with the morals of the Catholic Church. Actually, no, it is not, I'm going to have to take Wag's side on this one.

Better to be without morals than with the morals of the Catholic Church. Who said I was Catholic? Being a Christian does not mean you go to mass, belive in the sanctity of the pope, go to confession, take communion every time you attend church and whatnot. In fact - I haven't attended church regularly for approximately 3-4 years. Why? Maybe because I belive that to really have faith you have to live it. Going to church and constantly being coddled inside your religious saftey box won't help you be a better Christian - living life and finding your path with God as your guide is. When I am confronted with a "spiritual dilemma" or whatever, I shouldn't have to run down to the pope or my pastor and ask him what to do. I rely on my faith and God to give me the strength. But this thread already is a magnet for a theological debate of (OMG PUN) BIBLICAL preportions. Let's try not to stir it any more...

Right then.
This thread is about crazy, nonsensical equations, not dogma.
*divides the sum of Wag's living expenses by said equation to prove Wag has never cosplayed*

Actually, if you take LSD and play a Black Sabbath record at 78 speed, you'll see God. How does this factor into your equation, Ellis?

Last Sunday was the first time I've been to Church in half a year. Before that I attended regularly for about a week, first time I had been in about 6 or 7 years. Not going to Church doesn't make you any less of a Christain. Faking being a Christain you less of one

Chances are more that if you do find a way to disprove God, then you are harming more people than you think. So many people who are trying to disprove God believe that they are doing the right thing, wrong, they are doing worse than anything a church can do. Why do I say that? Because God is hope in the hearts and minds of many people, and if you kill that, you cause them harm. That is why I believe that those who try to disprove God, is also trying to disprove hope, and bringing pain to many, many people.

Thinks of Lior.
Heh heh. Then again, not like that was the first place the above arguement's been used.

I don't see why it's so important to make everyone not believe in God, I mean, why should it bother you? Yeah, they believe in God, so what? What does it have to do with you? Is it because you want to be an asshole?

Yeah, let's keep this to "fun thread status." We could go on and on about whether or not God exists, why or why not, but then we'd have to move the thread to Debate Hall, then it would eventually be locked for flaming.

Well it is a distasteful name which is common for Ellis.
God, I really am living up to Kaneka's two nicknames.
