Blood spilled over the fields as the creature silently creeped, piercing prey with its long claws, hunting and feasting on cow and herder both. The beast crunched loudly on flesh and bone, moving from creature to creature on its way.
All it knew was this: to feast and to listen to its master, nothing more. Ambiath'c finished on its meal, and its eyes wandered looking for more prey. Finally it saw the town ahead of it, and instantly knew it was where its master had sent it. The sun was already starting to get high into the sky now. Light did weaken the creature slightly, but not much. It was no great enemy, but it hated it.
The creature walked cautiously towards Meribia, showing a sense of doubt towards the unusual thing, a bustling town.
As it walked towards the edge of the town, it quickly spied some villagers carrying some food. Ambiath'c quickly caught these people with its claws, tossing them into it's gullet where it crunched them loudly as they screamed. It looked around for more prey.
The sun was soon high overhead, noon. The creature shifted from leg to leg, uncomfortable suddenly in the light. It soon spied a small hole, an enterance to the sewer.
The hole was much smaller than the beast, but it did not matter. The creature pressed its body into the hole, passing through it slowly despite the great size difference.
The creature finally passed through, landing in the also small sewers. The creature could creep through these passages without changing its body too much, but it could hardly move its legs to move it forward. It slowly moved through the sewers.
As it moved, it heard voices. Its eyes probe through the darkness looking for prey. Suddenly, in the tunnel ahead, it spies some light. It creepes closer, soon seeing light. It soon picks up the sent of Vile and human blood. It creeps forward into the light, entering a large chamber, partially filled with people. People chant around a large pit, filled with blood, bodies, and bones. They murmor prayers to the dark god Zophar.
Ambiath'c, ignoring their chants, moves silently towards the ignorant dark priests. It quickly snatches a few outlying priests, and as they scream it tosses them into its mouth, crushing them as it feeds.
"Oh my Zophar, what is that thing?" cries a priest as he walks back away from the creature. Ambiath'c snatches the priest with its jaws crushing it instantly, blood dribbling down its jaw. Other priests begin to flee, crying out prayers to their dark god as they run.
Ambiath'c ignores these prayers, and lavishingly eats them, its crunching jaw ringing in the chamber with the screams of the Vile in fright and pain.
Soon, the last of the priests fall down the creature's gullet. The creature's eyes turn to the large pool of man and creature flesh, bones and blood. It's eyes widen at the sight, and it walked into the middle of the pool, beginning to gouge on the pool. Slowly it moves through the large ammounts of human parts.
The beast eagerly begins consuming its meal, never increasing in size from its meal however.

Aurora looked up quickly from what she was doing, which happened to be digging around in her bag.
"Oh! Hello there! ... Do I know you?" Aurora asked, before blushing a bit. "Please forgive my rudeness! I didn't mean it as such. I've seen your face before, but I can't place your name..."
Aurora let go of her bag and it swung back into place on her hips. She bowed deeply as a form of apology.
Smooth move, Aurora. Now she'll think you're just some dweeb.

He could feel the looks of disgust from the townsfolk, but he didn't care.
'Let them judge me,' he thought, 'and turn up their noses at a man who'd be drunk so early in the day.'
It hadn't been a good morning. He'd fallen asleep in this ram-shackle inn last night again, but that wasn't abnormal. But his nightmares that night were horrid, and filled with the image of a ravenous spider, feasting on the souls of his comrads-at-arms. He'd tossed back what was left of the bottle he'd been cuddling last night, and quickly ordered another. The innkeeper knew better than to deny him, of course. He got paid, normally a few bronze coins more than its worth, and the customer got his drink. A sword pressed to your throat is more than enough encouragement to not remove an elderly drunkard.
Ignoring the stares he still got from the holdouts that tried to stir him from this docile life of drinking, he took another swig and layed his head down upon his table in the corner. Through blurred vision, he saw a tall half-elf walk in, bringing back memories of his good friend from back then...
'Stringy guy,' he thought, 'uses a rapier by the looks of it. Nothing special... but he might turn into something good.'
He laughed to himself for such thinking. Of course he'd never amount to anything. He'd die before he would have enough time to train to his potential. This was just the way the world works...
Looking away, he took another drought of elixer and drifted off into his own torturous thoughts.

"Is that a-" Kal began, but Seris cut him off.
"Yeah."
"I'm a dragon." the creature said to Kal.
"Sure you are." Kal replied as he finished up his breakfast. "Let's get going."

Seris sighed, eating the last of the fish before quickly gathering his few belongings and turning back towards the road, "Right, if we keep this pace up, we'll be near the temple and Vane in an hour or so. Probably make it to Meribia in a day or two, depending on conditions."
He walked off down the trail again, not seeming to notice Relm land on the top of his pack. The dragon curled up and settled in before dozing off for a nap.

Crix sat at his corner table with his map spread out,pen in hand
"Let's see,I can go this way ad hopefully find one of the fiend dragons. I can go this way and found one. Now that I think about it,how am I going to slay one dragon, let alone 4. Maybe I could find someone strong enough to help me. Maybe I.... "Hello mister" "Huh?! Where did you come from?" "Outside" "Funny kid, what do you want?"
The kid just stared back at Crix, then pointed at his notes and map
"What are you doing?" "Nothing that concerns you!" "You're mean......" "Fine....I'm sorry, now if I give you a silver piece will you go away?" "Yes!"
Crix handed the boy a silver piece. The boy quickly scurried out the down and into the ally, where the cloaked figure awaited his info.....

((Triyun, it's more like this:
ground Pillar of flame lava lava lava lava lava Pilar of Flame ground
Got it? ))
Erin grinned, and shook her head.
"No, you don't really know me. I'm Erin. I was in a few of your classes in Vane. I know this may seem sort of odd, but I was wondering if I could journey with you?"Erin said with as polite a smile as she could muster.

Aurora just stared at Erin for a moment, a bit dumbfounded, to be honest.
Come with me? She doesn't know where I'm going ... hell, I barely know where I'm going. But it would be very nice to have someone to travel with, especially a fellow magician. This might even be fun!
Aurora smiled and laughed excitedly. "Really? That would be great! Where are you headed? I'm off to Meribia on some ... business. Is that alright with you?"

The merchants were trying to make the cart go as fast as possible. But they were no match for the speed of the 10 foot beast following them, and it was gaining on them. They looked forward, watching the road ahead. As they rounded a turn, they saw a man with an arrow ready in his long bow, pointing it directly at them. They cut hard to the right, going straight towards the tree line. As they turned, the man released the bowline, and the arrow flew through the air straight towards them. The arrows wizzes by one of the man's heads, and directly through the shoulder of the troll following them.
Forest Troll. Big one to. This should be fun.
The troll began to advance towards the wagon once more. Slade drew his blades with his lower arms, and drew and readied an arrow with his upper. He fired once more while advancing on the troll to get his attention, piercing the beast in the rib cage. The beast turned towards slade, and came towards him.
Didn't even flinch from that. This should be interesting indeed. Slade put the bow back on his shoulder as he transfered his blades to his upper arms. The troll swung his massive club towards Slade, and Slade dodged to the side as the club hit the ground knocking up earth. As he got his footing, Slade sliced at the beast in the side. The beast roared, then swung its club around towards Slade. He ducked to avoid it, then lunged forward putting both blades into the beast's chest. The troll let out a cry of pain, then kicked Slade off and pinned him down with its massive foot. The raised his club preparing to crush Slade. Slade put both blades on the back of the troll's foot and sliced its achilles tendon. The troll lost its footing and fell backwards. Slade rolled backwards, then leaped forward. He came down on the troll's chest, then rammed both blades into its chin and through its skull. The body fell limp. Slade pulled his blades out and stood up. He sheathed his blades, and began to walk away.
"Hey... uh... thanks man. What can we do to repa...."
"Which way to the nearest town."
"Uh, head about 10 miles due east. That's actually where we were headed. Need a lift?"
"No. And I suggest you get moving. More Forest Trolls will come if they heard those cries that one was making. And I'm not staying to protect you nobodies."
I will never understand why these foolish humans travel around without being able to protect themselves. Oh well, not my problem. At least their smart enough to know where their towns are. Slade took off into the forest heading east.

Erin nodded, and loosened up a bit.
"Anywhere but Vane." She said with a grin.

Hir Mablung unsheathed El-Anchagel, translating from elvish into Iron Sword of the Leaping Flame he put it into the pillar of fire in front of him if the flame were both holy flames instead of normal flames the blade would not increase in heat at all. He would then have an idea of what to do.

Aurora laughed a bit.
"Meribia it is then!"
The girls started walking towards the gigantic city, no one truly leading, as if they were merely out for a stroll.
Aurora looked over at her companion and cleared her throat, deciding she would try to make conversation.
"So ... why do you want to leave Vane? Maybe to see the world?" Aurora asked, smiling a bit nervously.

Silver Fang appeared at the edge of the mountain. He looked around, and Mablung was nowhere in site. He sniffed the air. The stench of vampire was close, he readied his axe as a beast approached.

As Mablung put his blade in the flames, though the heat licked at his face and body, the sword had no visible changes to it.
------------------------------------
Erin chuckled at Aurora's question.
"You could say that's part of it. To be entirely honest, I can't stand the whole attitude of the place. You and head mistress Mia are the only ones I can stand...You two never act above everyone else." She said, with an increasing smile.
"Besides, I hardly think that the environment there can really help my type of powers."

Mablung closed his eyes and breathed slowly. He had little choice. He said a prayer to Althena then kneeled performing a purification ritual. He placed a leaf given to him by Silver Fang under his armor then slowly pushed up some of his breast mail and put the sword partially into his chest allowing the holy flame inside to consume him he felt a sharp pain but blocked it out then stepped into the pillar of flame and started to walk forward. He put all his faith in Althena.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The axe of silver fang sung in the mountain air as a vampire came forward from the shadows. It was laid down upon the ground. Several more appeared and the shaman roared then twirled in a whirlwind smiting them down. However more came and grabbed the old warrior and forced him to the ground. They then began taking him back to his later. He slowly laid a trail.
