With all the old faces here, especially the ones from GP, I'm feeling a touch of the old nostalgia. Do you guys remember the days at GP, where we RPed for hours straight, the RPG moving faster than the members? Do you remember the first time "new page activate" was said? Do you remember discussing mecha tech with Mark Simmons?
Most of all, do you remember how intimate the board was in the very beginning, and how somehow, people felt the need to tell people that they were leaving for the night?
I sure do...and for some reason this board feels like Gundam Project did in its glory days...
I can almost symphathize with Li - right now, this board feels the same way that other boards do when they're young and only inhabited by a small gathering of people who are familiar with each other. You wish that it could stay that way, but people leave, and new people come, and inevitably those new people shatter the old feeling you had when you looked at the board, for here are intruders on YOUR little gathering, your private club, your little clique, your internet HOME.
I have hopes for this board, I really do.
May this board meet a better end than its predecessor, and may its administrators never abuse their powers.

While I was never a part of the oldest incarnations of this group, I do know what you mean, as I've been involved with similat things in the past.
And the home-y feeling is kind of nice. But, as DC said- it won't last forever. Things'll change, as they always do in this crazy world we live in.

If you're afraid of change, feel free to go drown yourself. Change is Life, kids. 'S the way things work.
Wow... how many years ago has it been since GP went down and Gundamwatch was brought to 'new management'? Been ages since I've been an active forum poster anywhere. I feel like an old man all of a sudden. The world... so grayscale... and all these young whippersnappers running around.
...Megaraptor, if you eat my teeth again, I'm going to use your tailbones to clean my gutter.

How many years ago did I meet you? I remember it was page 20-something of the Unofficial Gundamproject Bar... but I cannot express how great it is to have all of these GP veterans here.

I first started at Gundam Project a few weeks before it was closed down. Though I've lost touch with some of those people, I'm confident I'll still be seeing you guys for many moons to come...

I was never at GP sadly.. I came with Wind right at the exodus to Gwatch. And I remember those Gwatch days with such nostalgia that uhh.. An old veteran's war buddies would be jealous?
It's nice to see so many familiar faces here. I was rather lost at the other MSPB. This one feels alot more like home.

I was at old Gundam Watch and at Gundam.com
The one thing I miss about Gundam.com is IndyAKARex. He kicked major ass.

IndyAKARex managed to make like 15k posts without spamming. Aries doesn't compare.
