The colors are horrid at the moment... really needs some lovin' and all. Anyone else agree?

Better than the fucking standard grey and yellow of the other board.

For me, this new color is fine. As long as we stay away from the standard one...

My only complaint is that it's hard to read the dark blue text links on the dark gray background.

We'll figure something out. In all honesty, I don't think anyone expected this forum to be 'needed' as quickly as it was.

I suggest a lovely pink color...
>_>
Hey, it was just a suggestion.

Suggestion to change the background to white. That would work, and change the links to a darkish grey.

This color scheme is alright, but it is hard on the ol' eyes in some places...

Yes, which is why I said change the background, oh, I know! Grey, light grey, then the links can still be seen.

Yeah, the light blue on dark is hard on the eyes. I propose we keep the color scheme as dark as possible, to avoid blindingness.

Go with a simple white and blue. When you put two colors from the same color on each other it gets ugly and unprofessional looking.

I see no immediate problems with the colors, but do consider contrast. On older monitors or computers with bad graphics cards, the bright blue on gray would likely clash horribly, and I agree with Wag that it's hard on the eyes to look at hypertext links.
Simple is good, but I suggest lighter grays for the thread windows, and perhaps a bit less intense blue for the background.

For me, as long as it's not glaring bright, like certain forums I've been to, I don't mind too much. These colours are unusual, but at least I don't have to wear shades to read the text.

...i suggest we go back to the proboards default...except changing the yellow to a dark red, or blue, or green color....keep it simplistic...

Proboards default sucks... it's not good for avatars.
