(Beam weapons, particularly those with 6.8 MW of power behind them can penetrate through nearly anything, including rock. True, it's effectiveness would be diminished, but not by enough to render it ineffective.)

(... I guess. Since the thing that does the real damage is the particles, that would be one really dimished attack, as every wall it pierces through, that's another lot particles the beam loses.) *The Beam busts through the wall just behind NM, who is still moving.* Errr... He must be using some type of Sonar... *NM keeps moving, the blasted rock flying all about, more than enough to confuse Ellis's sensors.*

Ellis stares at this screen.
"I either hit him and he exploded or...."
Ellis begins applying filters to his re-outs, the computer removes the random vibration intensities and timings of the rock, after a few seconds leaving only the fairly standard pattern of NM's movement. Ellis takes another shot, this time his aim lies slightly ahead of the Zeta.

*NM's own heat sensors pick up the faint signature of Ellis through the cold walls.* So, that's where you've been hiding... *NM's sensors pick up the firing of the Beam, and alarms begin to sound. NM boosts backward hard. The Beam blasts through the wall at what would have been his position if he kept moving.* So, he's going to try and pick me off, huh? His sensors must be much better than I thought. But, it's time to liven things up a little bit... *NM fires grenades in front of his position. The resulting explosion would cause a terrible vibration, enough to throw Ellis's sensors off quite a bit.* Now I move... *Using the explosion as cover, NM rockets through the debris, rapidly closing in on the hanger where Ellis is located.*

(Don't forget that you would take some damage by going strait through that blast of yours.)
Ellis frowns at his the loss of his lock. Raising its shield, the Super Gundam thrusts backward out of the bay.

Raising its shield, the Super Gundam thrusts backward out of the bay.(Considering that I'm flying through a field of rocks with Gundanrum armor, probably not much.) *NM suddenly comes blasting out of the bay after Ellis.* I have you now! *NM fires his Beam Rifle twice at Ellis.*

The two beams penetrate the shield, yet Ellis' Gundam receives no damage. Guessing that NM would take his shots as soon as he had a lock, Ellis left his shield not far out side the bay. Ellis meanwhile, being a good deal ahead of NM, camped just beyond the lip of the bay. Just as the Zeta exited the hanger, it's focus on shield, Ellis fired a shot from his long beam rifle into the enemy MS at near point-blank range.

What do you mean by "not far outside the bay"? Are you insulting my intellegence? How can I not tell that there's only a shield there, when I have thermal sensors!)

(Well, we all know that Abawaku's tunnel system is quite convoluted and hence it would take you some time to make your way out of it. I on the other hand, was right by an exit and was able to do so quickly and easly, leaving me plenty of time to get into possition on the edge of the hanger. Your post however, clearly stated that you fired on me. The only way that I could make it work out logically was assume you fired on the first thing you got a lock on, my shield.)

(Well, considering how you've been taken by suprise and fired on at point blank range, I think this match is mine.)

(... Despite whatever protests I may have in my head, I'll give it to you.) *The Zeta explodes in a brilliant flash of whitish-yellow light.*

It was a good game, NM. I look forward to working with you in Libra's multi-team battle.
