Amid the chaos of the incident, a lone ship makes its way into the docking bay. It's occupant slips out quietly, body obscured by a cloak. The cloaked figure moves into the colony, using manual hatches to open the airlocks before finally getting into the colony proper and wandering around inside.
A young man, still a teenager, looked up from his book. It was the last time he read the Book of Revelations. He ran down the streets of the dock recreationial area, away from the cafe where he had left.
"Hello? Can anybody help me?" he yelled, adjusting his glasses as he ran.
Paul steps out his building's front door, a small backpack slung over his shoulder, into a grim and surreal landscape. Having been thrown off balance, the colony's mirror's are no longer reflecting their sunlight inside. What light that does remain is the dim glow of a billion distant stars...a dimness that reveals a field of corpses in the street.
"Good God..." Paul whispers, crossing himself. After a few more moments of solemn staring, the young man pushes a button his small flashlight and slowly makes his way towards the Spaceport. He wonders how much time he has left before his home is obliterated. I should have checked the time when the announcement was made...
He looks up. Through the glass ceiling above, on the opposite side of the cylinder, Paul can see the Moon slowly growing larger. He starts to run.
You know what? I'm tired of you. I'm going to kill you now. Goodbye! - Penn, Last Piece

"So, then... it's here that the new story begins, is it? So shall it be. However... I simply cannot allow this chaos to continue any further." MAxwell said to nobody as he walked calmly through the crowd. Then, in a loud, booming commanding voice, he cried out "CEASE!". As if time itself had been stopped, the fleeing citizens the colony froze and relaxed, standing calmly looking at the man.
He silently lead them to the damaged sectors, restoring the collapsed bulkheads to allow them to procees to the escape pods they had previously been denied acess to.
"They'll live. This colony can't be saved. It's too important. Now, my interesting freind, to take care of you..."

DC lifted a large chest of drawers, shook it once, and tossed it into a duffel bag. He grabbed a couple of books, and shook them, then picked up his bed with his free hand and gave it a shake as well. He tossed these last items into the duffel bag, then slung the bag over his shoulder easily. He looked around the completely bare apartment again. "About time I headed back to Earth anyway..." He stared blankly at - no, through - a nearby wall. "So. They're here too." He shrugged and left the apartment.
The woman quietly manuevered her small cruiser nearer to the colony and smiled to herself. "Easy pickings," she said to herself. "The system's malfunctioning and everything...Those schematics will be mine..."
She docked the ship on the outside of the colony and flipped a switch. A tube on the bottom of the cruiser extended from the hull and cut its way through the colony hull, then stopped. The room that the tube had cut into instantly started depressurizing.
The woman slipped into her normal suit and grabbed her weapons, then jumped through the void into the colony, the door to her ship closing behind her. She opened the door and exited the room once she had reached the colony, closing the door quickly to prevent further atmosphere loss. Still in her normal suit and jump pack, she readied her assault rifle and began jogging to her target.
"This is as good as it gets," Aegis muttered to himself, putting the final touches. He then turned to the rest of the crew, eyes furrowed in determination.
"Everybody, out!" he barked at the rest of the engineers.
Immediately, the rest of the crew ran to the doors, away from the engineering section, leaving Aegis the last one to leave. Turning back, he took one more look at the bulkheads before pressing the switch to seal the engineering room shut.
Now... for my stuff...
Looking around and making sure no one was looking, Aegis' hands immediately changed shape, grow claws on his hands and scales lined along his skin. With the now taloned hands, he grabbed one of the sealed doors, and, with inhuman strength, slid it open before running into the room.
Must do one more thing... he thought.

With the power out, and the colony in mass panic, it was no trouble slipping into the now deserted facility. The cloaked figure was still a little cautious, however, he was sure he wasn't the only one around.
Finally he found what he was looking for, a small datadisc. He double checked the codes listed on it with the codes he'd been given by his informant.
It was a match, the schematics were on it. He put the disc in a small pouch under his cloak and turned to leave the building.
