As a matter of fact...yes, yes we are.
*Begins dancing around like a friggin' idiot*
I'm going to A-Kon! I'm going to A-Kon! I'm going to A-Kon! Hey!!
*Stops dancing*
Boy what a workout. But yeah, hey...guess where I'm going?!
*Points to above sentence*
A-Kon!! Oh yeah, A-Kon baby! It was the first anime convention to start in America. It all began 15 years ago...
*Initiates flash-back sequence. The vision shows 2 dudes sitting on a couch cosplaying as Optimus Prime and Speed Racer. One burps, the other laughs, the flash-back ends*
But hey, it's bigger now. Last year there was like, 10,000 in attendance, seriously. The opening ceremonies are in...*looks at clock*...2 hours. I'm going, one of my best friends is going, some dude from Guatemala that I just met is going, s'all good. Oh, and Aries too. However, Aries be a dumbass, thinks he's too smart for pre-registration...so he's paying $50 for his 3-day BASIC pass, while I payed $35, and have tickets to all the concerts and events, including the banquet with the voice actors and animators, as well as a reserved position in the SUMO CONTEST!! Oh yeah, pays to pre-reg baby.
*Calms down, takes a breath*
Anyway, Craze, we know it was Silent Hill, and all props where they're due, great series. However, Resident Evil, oh so much better. So, don't worry about it.

*Walks in and tosses his Graduation Gown aside*
That Awards Ceremony was a complete waste of my time. The same five people won almost everything.
*Sigh*
I'm glad that at least a couple of my friends were able to get some scholarships...

Yeah, people still find a way to make those into popularity contests, too...

Are you supposed to be awake for those things? I was bored to the verge of slumber throughout the damn ceremony.

No, Lib, its worse in my school. Wallington is a small town, so, the school (and most of the sports) becomes the center of our POLITICAL ARENA. Thus, it was all political. Yeah, the Valedictorian and Salutatorian won stuff, but the others were either: A) Children of Council Members, B) Children of Teachers, or C) Children of PTA/Home and School/Some other Organization's member. This meant that a LOT of kids who DESERVED awards got little or zilch.
The same thing happened to my sister in 8th Grade. She should've gotten an award for "Most Improved Student", and instead they gave it to the daughter of a Council Woman. A girl whose only real improvement was going from A - to A +, as opposed to my sister going from F to B -.
Just one of the many reasons my family moved last year. If I wasn't a Senior, I would have switched schools too.

So, don't worry about it. What state are you in? You're lucky, nothing comes by much in Louisiana. Except They Might Be Giants are coming to New Orleans, but where they're playing you have to be 18 or older to get in, so that screws up my plans.

Have you ever signed a guestbook? Do you think anyone else will? Does this dress make me look fat?
