Sometimes I think people forget just what happened on 9 / 11.
Just in case you missed it, a few planes were smashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and alot of people died.

Yeah. And that has no connection to Mr. Hussein. That's reason in itself for an empeachment, none the less a loss in the election.

And after 9/11 Bush declared war on terrorists, remember that? There are also terrorists in Iraq. www.terrorismanswers.org/sponsors/iraq.htmlEven though the last part about WMDs is old, the fact still remains that Iraq has used them in the past, and there is the variable of them being able to produce them again under Shaddam's power.

No, no...I don't think you get it.
Planes crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and a lot of people died.
And what's funny is the people who scream "no blood for oil". How about blood for blood? How about we're doing the best we fucking can? Who would you trust to manage the troops of the United States more - yourself or Colin Powell? Don't you think he's as high in the military as he is for a reason? Don't you think that we have some of the brightest and most intelligent people in the country working on where we should attack and why?
The President takes all the shit for 99% of everything that's gone wrong during the 9/11 conflict. What happened to our "American Pride" everyone's so fond of displaying on their bumper with a neat little sticker. Oh, that's right. It's so easy to talk it, but when people start dying - oh shit lets start bashing the President since he's the easiest one to assail.
But this is about human rights.
The Patriot Act is a good thing. Why? Because we need to make sure 9/11 doesn't happen again. Hell, if I had my way, we'd have metal detectors in every school in America - public and private. Want to know why? I looked at it - I had it planned out. I could have easily just of executed a mass murder as devastating as Collumbine with only MYSELF. No accomplices, no help, just me and what I could set up. Think about that the next time you go to school. Think about that the next time you go into ANY public place. Now think about what kind of resources a simple terrorist cell has compared to someone living in a middle class family.
You are vulnerable - just like everyone else. Go into the movie theatre to see that new release. It's dark. All of a sudden two to four men stream down the isle in the middle of the flick and simply begin gassing or shooting people while muttering "Jihad, Jihad".
Now think about the Patriot act.
Prevention before the stuff happens. The type of crimes these people commit aren't things like shoplifting which only cause a few hundred dollars damage at most. We're talking about the security of human life for every person in the country. If having that security means that I can't check in at the curb at the airport or that my house can be put under government surveilence - SO BE IT. I have nothing to hide, and neither will any other upstanding American.
No, Bush has done plenty for Human Rights - he's made sure that at least some Americans can live with a sense of security instead of quivering in fear of terrorists streaming through our borders and cropping up in our hometowns in preparation for another 9/11 strike. Osama Bin-Laden was on the news recently spouting about how "the choice is in the American people's hands to elect a president who will not attack Al-Qaeda". Fuck. That. I do not elect a president out of fear, and neither should the American people. Bush has done his best to make sure Americans don't have to live in fear of the impending terrorist doom looming over their hometowns - yet all he's gotten is criticism.
Repeal the Patriot Act and you'll have another disaster on your hands. Then we'll see who the American people stick the blame on when the only people to blame is themselves for bitching so much about a peice of legislation that tried to save their lives.

Since I shall use the power of my dual citizenship to vote in this election, I'll be voting for W.
Why? Because at least Bush comes right out and says he will fuck you. He wants lower tax cuts for the rich, right there, he is saying "I'm gonna fuck you."
Now Kerry, Kerry on the other hand is a two faced bastard about it. Look at the facts, Kerry is a democrat. Democrats want bigger government. Kerry wants bigger government.
Kerry is for middle class and Kerry is for Health Care.
Guess where the taxes for Health Care and Government come from? Middle Class. Raising minium wage? Won't do shit. People will still be making $5.15 an hour or whatever minium is up to these days.
Don't be tricked. W will fuck you, but at least he will admit it. Kerry will fuck you, and just say he has a plan. A plan which no one, not even Kerry, knows what it is about.

Bigger government means that we'll get screwed over even more, I mean, whenever the government gets their hand into something, they mess it up.

Especially quality control, I mean the FDA completely screwed up everything. Rotting sausage wasn't thrown back in with the rest to make new sausage and those people selling mixtures of Opuim and Alcohol without anybody knowing could no longer claim that it was a miracle cure to everything legally.

And yet, you want someone who is going to do that for certain aspects of our lives be handed over to the government?

Triyun, you've gotta make your sarcasm a bit more obvious in the future.
