Viper's the Bar's martial arts expert (at least at the beginning of the story), while he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, he's not a bad guy either. He also acts as a foil for the Cyg and Ellis when it comes to debate over religion.
Anyway, I need to keep him alive for all the sticky character interaction in the Bar's third plot arc, in which he has a fairly important place.

Where IS he, anyway?!
Keep in mind, y'all, Ellis gets everything up there and he's gonna do it. Aries gets everything afterwards.
...
And Ellis forgot some stuff.
The Colonial Government is called, collectively, Administrators, or the Administration. Their anti-PATrnS military arm are known as the Moderators. After the first part of things, the Administrators start taking a hardline stance on PATrnS. Think X-Men. So those mining colonies start becoming refuges for Patrons, and eventually, they start getting mad enough to build up a military backbone. Aries's movie starts out right at this point, introduces Aries (though Aries is in the backstory), Libra, MR (who supplants Mav as leader), Rosey, and so on and so forth. Aries's backstory is revealed a little more (since, fuck y'all, Aries is really important around here), and we go from fugitives to enemies of the state. For a damn good reason.
Ellis sets it up, Aries gets to destroy everything.
*grins.* It's gonna be serious, yes, but it's gonna be kinda FLCL.
Oh, Aries and Gato clones show up in the movie. And they're evil. Ellis, get with Aries on that and prepare to revel in his genius.

I can probably run a Volume of the Chronicles of Raz to coincide with this. Ya know, individual spin off movie. Cuz I'm da shit.

I was considering have Raz be the original propagator of the SPAMERS virus, an experiment gone wrong developed around the year 2030 that has been hanging around ever since.

I want to try making some concept sketches, but some need-to-knows for it:
Islands -- Do they look like islands? Little floating plates of dirt with bubbles, or more colony-ish, ie. Gundam?
AVA-TARs -- basic concept idea for this would be nice, or can I go all-out on my own? EVA-ish, Gundam-ish, Wing MS-ish, Pat-labors... There's a lot of mecha to draw inspiration from.
Other than that, I think I can manage. I'd assume everyone's been in at least one Bar Photo. Speaking of which, I should save the first two if they didn't get their posts' whiped out in Li's Wrath.

Colony-like. Well, thing is, Avatars stand for Advanced Vehicular Armature for Transport, Assault, or Reclaimation. They're technically all over the damn place, some used for mining work, others for construction, but the really pretty-looking ones are also the ones used for war. Think more along the lines of Candidate for Goddess, but with a more Gundam twist. Aries'll get those to you tomorrow.

So, this is set in sort of the beginning of the bar era, right?

Yeah, I think I can work with that. I've some ideas to make the mecha fairly unique, actually. I'll try to include that energy-base stuff, too, but the thinner frames might not quite work out right. We'll see.

Mmm.... I'm willing to work with any and all of your ideas when it comes to plot and characterization, Aries. However, these Goddess/ Wing hybrids I must flatly reject. I'm trying to craft a word too realistic for them.
I'm thinking more along the lines of Gasaraki/ Patlabor style. While we're at it, I'd like to handle the mechanical designs. It's not that I don't trust anyone else with them, it's that I've been chewing on the designs for a while now.
Yes. Gamma Point is sort of representative of gundam.com/ animex.com

I'm trying to craft a word too realistic for them. Aries didn't say Goddess/Wing. Aries said Goddess/Gundam. Like those flowing designs out of Goddess, but with like a GM's faceplate, or a Zaku eye or the Quin Mantha's face. Nothing seriously ornate, and of course, they'd be either gender-neutral or more masculine. Aries is really thinking along the lines of the Pro-Ing from that series more than anything. Oh, shut up. Aries is really interested in what Manae churns out. They may potentially be even better than your ideas. Speaking of, we need to start ironing that stuff out so Aries can start writing fight scenes in the movie.

I'm almost done a concept for the Islands. Very UC'ish, yet not. You'll see. I'll likely be scanning them in by the time I get back from my next classes.
