New Scribblings!
Excerpt from Hero Ex Nihilo (A subset story of a large series I'm making, telling the story of one of the back characters, who, in older versions of the story, was named Xtermo):
Broken, Turahliahn collapsed to his knees.
The war, for now, was over, but at a price too great for him to bear. Those for whom he had fought were now lost...
The one who had come to free us had done all that he had promised and more, htough the losses left him now prostrated and shaking atop a hill stained with the blood of the innocent under a silently clear sky...
The heroism of his heart melted away, and with it his silent and strong demeanor, and as a single tear escaped his eyes, clenched in the agony of the moment, he couldn't help but wonder what he was fighting for...
With the death of the last of those whom he held dear, he no longer had a reason to go on. For it is said that, while they are never forgotten, they would never return.
After seeming ages of a stillness broken only by the distant winds and the clattering of those picking up the pieces of their lives that yet remained, and solmnly taking their bretherin to be put to rest, Turahliahn stood once more.
Then, lifting his eyes to the dark sky above, he cried out and from his back burst forth wings all of white doused in blood.
He turned to me for a moment, and as he did I knew it would be the last any of us saw of him again. A tear slowly ran down his tormented face. I ran towards him to stop him from going but, after bowing his head once more, he lept into the air, and left this world forever...

Actually, those are now the fixed scans in which you can get a reasonable idea of how the sketches look. And what- you were expecting maybe photorealism and computer-generated titles? No time for that, my man. Only for making the complex character designs on which to base the chibis for the show. Besides, your hair looks good on any drawing of you, man.
On another note, I may just have to kill Naz for chosing a design that's making me take too long on just him. If I weren't so lazy, I'd go kick his ass.
